Hi! My name is Molly. Although my humans like to think I belong to them, it’s actually the other way around. This blog is all about me, my motorhome (fondly called M.A.E.V – the Middle Aged Escape Vehicle), and the two humans who tag along on my adventures. Together, we explore the UK and beyond, one pet-friendly road trip at a time.

My journey began in October 2020 when I was found as a tiny pup in a field in Romania with my siblings. Life didn’t start easily – we were abandoned and vulnerable – but kind people at a local rescue centre gave us food, shelter, and the chance of a better life. Thanks to them, I eventually found my forever home.

After a 36-hour journey across Europe – through Romania, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Belgium, and France – I finally arrived in the UK. It wasn’t easy saying goodbye to my brother Sonny and my sister Wispa, but my new humans welcomed me with warmth, patience, and love. From those first nervous days in my cosy crate to today, I’ve never looked back.

For the past four years, I’ve been living the dream: travelling the UK in our motorhome, exploring dog-friendly destinations, hiking trails, beaches, and countryside walks. My humans are handy when it comes to driving, opening treat bags, and carrying the camera – though I’ll admit, the food is still my favourite part of every trip!

On this blog, I’ll be sharing our travel stories, tips for pet-friendly motorhome adventures, and plenty of photos and videos from life on the road. Whether you’re a dog lover, a fellow motorhome traveller, or just someone who enjoys a good tail-wagging story, I hope you’ll join me on my adventures.
