It’s not often these days with current work commitments that we are able to get away for a long weekend – so when the opportunity presented itself we jumped on the chance to have three nights away instead of the usual two.
As soon as Sarah finished work this afternoon, we hopped in MAEV and headed for Littlehampton (LA of the South Coast – ie Li-‘ille ‘Ampton to the locals!)
The campsite itself is clean and very quiet, but nothing special. The men’s showers seem to have plenty of hot water and pressure, but it’s a different story at the other end of the block for the ladies!
It was an easy journey though and it looks like it’s in a good location to go out and explore.
Took a while to get the electric working, but once we were set up a Tesco Finest Lasagne was just as good as the pricier Charlie Bingham offerings we normally have!
