After a very tedious, three hour journey down to Portsmouth, we’ve parked up in the Boardwalk car park. After a quick call to the Harbour Master, we’re all booked in for one night – and it’s FREE!!
Obviously there are no services, but as a stop-over on the way to the South-West of the country, it takes a lot of beating.
After walking Molly and stretching our legs on the fields opposite the marina – we made a beeline to the eateries on the quayside. Having Molly with us can restrict our choices – but this evening we were able to sit in the evening sunshine outside O Solo Mio and enjoy pizza and pasta and watch the world go by – primo!!
After an evening stroll looking at the boats in the marina – got to love some of the names! – once the sun had set and the evening chill set in we headed back to our MAEV for a cuppa and some rocky road!
Very cosy – everything done on the gas with no EHU, but we have everything we need, and more!
